How to Mint an NFT
1. Open a supported internet browser (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, or Edge)
2. Type in rarity.tools/upcoming
3. Find a project you like and then do your due diligence to ensure it is a real project.
Check out their Discord, twitter, website, etc. provided information.
a. When you open their twitter you are looking to see how many followers they have, posts, etc. to make sure they are legit and that you feel confident.
b. You also want to make sure the listed website on Twitter matches that on rarity.tools
4. Once you are confident and have found the project you wish to support, click the link to the Website from rarity.tools
5. Once on their website, click the “Mint” button.
6. This will take you to their minting page where you will get a MetaMask Notification pop up asking to connect with MetaMask. If you agree, click the “Next” button.
7. Once your MetaMask wallet is connected it will show your wallet ID and below that you can see the mint limit.
8. You can mint 1, 20 for this example, or any number in between. Once you have the number you wish to mint you click the “Mint” button.
9. MetaMask Notification will pop up to show you the price, gas fee, and total price. If you agree, then you click the “Confirm” button.
10. After confirming your transaction, you will see this confirmation message, “Check out your transaction on Etherscan”. You click the “Etherscan” link to see the details.
11. Once Etherscan pulls up you can click on your MetaMask extension
12. Then you can verify your transaction on MetaMask and Etherscan to show completed.
13. Open a supported internet browser (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, or Edge)
14. Type in opensea.io
15. Verify you have landed on the correct page
16. Click your profile up at the top right-hand side of the page
17. Scroll down to view your NFTs and find the one you just purchased.
a. Side Note: Typically, all new NFTs look the same/have the same placeholder until the Project reveals the individual NFTs.
18. You can click the Created by brand name to see if your NFT is a placeholder or to get more information about your NFT.
19. If all the images are the same, then it is likely just a placeholder for now.
20. Once the project reveals the characters. You can click the “Refresh Metadata” button to refresh your NFT.
