Nigeria Makes Up More Than Her Third Of Cryptocurrency Holders In Africa
The African continent currently has an estimated 53 million cryptocurrency holders, according to the latest Triple A cryptocurrency holdings data. This accounts for about 16.5% of her 320 million estimated worldwide. Of all cryptocurrency holders in Africa, Nigeria accounts for over a third of the total, or just over 22 million of her. Globally, Nigeria has the fourth largest number of cryptocurrency holders, while the United States is the highest ranked country with 46 million cryptocurrency holders. According to data, India and Pakistan are the next best countries with 27.4 million and her 26.4 million crypto holders respectively.
